She holds a BA degree in Sociology from Paine College, MAT in Secondary Education/History, Political Science from Augusta State University and an Ed.D. in Educational Leadership (Trident University; Dissertation: How Effective Administrative Leadership Impacts New Teacher Retention in Matters Surrounding Student Discipline).
